Lookout Global Logistics is seeking an International Account Manager to support one of our strategic partner accounts. This individual will work closely with the partner's team and applicable customers while utilizing Lookout's international forwarding network, systems, carrier and agent relationships, operating procedures, and regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate combines international freight knowledge with exceptional customer service, communication, and account-management skills.

Serve as the dedicated day-to-day representative and primary point of contact for the assigned strategic account.
Coordinate international shipments from quotation and booking through customs coordination, delivery, and file completion.
Track and trace shipments across ocean, air, and trucking modes and proactively address potential delays or exceptions.
Communicate professionally with partners, customers, carriers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and other service providers.
Request and prepare quotations using approved platforms, carriers, and overseas partners.
Follow up on documentation, customs and freight releases, free-time deadlines, and other shipment requirements.
Maintain accurate shipment records, documentation, and timely data entry within Lookout's cargo management system.
Follow established company procedures and applicable TSA, FMC, CBP, and other government agency requirements, escalating compliance questions when appropriate.
Develop a strong understanding of the assigned account's customers, trade lanes, routing preferences, and service expectations.
Escalate significant operational, financial, compliance, or customer-service issues to management as appropriate.
Provide light phone coverage as needed to gather information or follow up on urgent matters.
Support internal teams with operational coverage as needed.

3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or a related field; international air and/or ocean freight experience strongly preferred.
Strong customer service and relationship-management abilities, with confidence communicating with customers, partners, and service providers.
Exceptional written and email communication skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume inbox, maintain organized correspondences, and communicate complex shipment information clearly, professionally, and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective time management with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership of issues through resolution.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to learn transportation management systems (GoFreight) and other web-based platforms.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to successfully complete and maintain any TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA), background screening, security training, or other regulatory requirements applicable to the position.

3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or a related field; international air and/or ocean freight experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with IATA regulations, dangerous goods requirements, and international air cargo operations; IATA, IMDG, or Dangerous Goods certification is a plus.
Previous experience working within a TSA Indirect Air Carrier (IAC) environment or supporting IAC operations.
Experience with customs brokerage coordination, U.S. import requirements, or international trade compliance.
Industry certifications or formal training in freight forwarding, logistics, customs, transportation, or trade compliance.

Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, plus performance-based bonuses.

Lookout Global Logistics is seeking a Part-Time Social Media Assistant to support our social media and marketing efforts. This position will work closely with our existing team to brainstorm, develop, and coordinate engaging content that reflects our brand, company culture, and the international logistics industry.
This is a flexible, part-time position averaging approximately 5–10 hours per week. We are especially interested in candidates located in the Greater Chattanooga / North Georgia area.

Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and develop social media content
Draft captions and written content for company social media channels
Assist with creating graphics and other visual content
Help plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar
Schedule and coordinate posts across company platforms
Assist with company announcements, employee features, industry content, holidays, newsletters, and other campaigns
Review content for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and brand consistency
Help identify new content ideas and opportunities to grow engagement
Provide general support for other marketing and content projects as needed

Strong written communication, grammar, and proofreading skills
Creative with a strong eye for clean, professional content
Highly organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
Comfortable using major social media platforms
Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools preferred
Comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar) or able to learn quickly
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with limited supervision
Ability to collaborate effectively and incorporate feedback
Reliable high-speed internet access and access to a dependable computer or laptop suitable for remote work
Marketing, communications, graphic design, photography, video editing, or social media experience is a plus
Current students or recent graduates in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field are encouraged to apply
